Today, PT. Linde Indonesia supplies products to approximately 500 customers by pipeline, tankers or cylinders, with over 200 staff supporting Linde Indonesia’s 24-hour operations in five different location across Java.
1971 | BOC (formerly CIG Australia) and Aneka Gas forms joint venture called PT. Industrial Gases Indonesia (PT. IGI) based in the Pulogadung Industrial Estate. | |

1991 | Begins on-site gas supply in West Jaya. | |
1995 | BOC acquires Aneka Gas's shares in IGI. | |
1996 | IGI is renamed PT. BOC Gases Indonesia on December 16. | |
1997 | Sales offie is established in Surabaya. | |
1998 | Starts operation of combined cycle plants (power plant +ASU) in Gresik, East Jaya, supplying to PT. Smelting Co and other customers in East Jaya under PT. Gresik Gases and PT. Gresik Power. | |
2006 | PT. Linde Indonesia becomes a member of the Linde Goup following the acquisition of the BOC Group by Linde AG. | |
2010 | Re-branded PT. BOC Gases Indonesia to PT. Linde Indonesia in November 2010. | |
2011 | Secured gases supply contract with PT. KS POSCO in Cilegon, West Java, to build a 2000 TPD of ASU, the largest Air Separation Plant in Indonesia. | |
2013 | 2000 TPD ASU at Cilegon, the largest Air Separation Plant in Indonesia, on stream. | |
2016 | Commissioning of new PGP site to produce industrial gases and special gases products at Karawang. | |
2022 | Small on-site Elang Perdana, Microfilling Semarang Site, and secure gases supply contract with PT. Freeport Indonesia, in Manyar Gresik East Java, to build 2500 TPD of ASU. The new largest Air Separation Plant in Indonesia. |
